Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, so it’s time to start planning how you and your partner are going to spend the holiday. Thankfully, if you're going to be in Victoria this V-Day, there are no shortage of fun and romantic events. From a picnic for two at a local farm to a luxurious high tea experience on the harbourfront, check out three Valentine’s date ideas in Victoria.

Tea for Two at Aura Restaurant

Treat your partner to a luxe high tea experience at Aura Restaurant. Located right on the inner harbour, Aura Restaurant is offering Valentine’s Tea for 2 on each weekend throughout the month of February. Tea times start at 11:30 am and last until 3:00 pm and cost $65 per person. The menu features the likes of sour cherry & white chocolate scones, a strawberry almond profiterole, a raspberry lychee rose mousse bar, a chicken katsu sandwich, and of course, your choice of Silk Road teas.

Valentine’s Weekend Picnic Experience for Two at Bilston Creek Farm

Get out of the city this V-Day by booking a Valentine’s Weekend Picnic Experience for Two at Bilston Creek Farm. Taking place on February 12th, 13, and 14th, this unique event will have you enjoying a specially-curated picnic beneath a tent in front of a roaring fire or in the Bilston Barn. The outdoor package comes with lunch for two and a s’mores-making kit complete with lavender marshmallows, while the indoor package includes a lunch for two from Bramble and a decadent s’mores parfait.

LEGO Brick Exhibition

Think outside the box this Valentine’s Day and surprise your partner with a trip to The LEGO Brick Exhibition. This annual exhibition has officially returned to the Sidney Museum and is open to the public until March 31st. This year’s showcase features everything from fairytale castles to 1960s pop culture icons, all reimagined in LEGO form. The exhibition is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00 pm and admission is by donation.

If you’ll be in Victoria this Valentine’s Day, then be sure to plan something special. And if you need a place to stay during your visit, you’re always welcome at the Days Inn Victoria Uptown. We combine quality accommodation and luxe amenities with an unbeatable location.

Family Day is almost here, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate this fun holiday in Victoria.

Twenty minutes by walking away from the Inner Harbour in Victoria, British Columbia, Burnsie Gorge is a beautiful spot to settle down. Close enough to downtown for anyone who enjoys the busy rush of downtown living but far enough away for the outdoorsy, Burnside Gorge is gorgeous.
