CAPITAL CITY COMIC CON

That’s right! Capital City Comic Con is coming to the Victoria Conference Centre and Crystal Gardens on March 16-18! With three days of panels, cosplay contests, exclusive previews, signings and more, it’s going to be every nerd-girl and geek guy’s dream come true!

Guests are still being confirmed, but so far include comic artist and writer Bob Hall (Shadowman! Captain America!), writer Ed Brisson (Iron Fist! Old Man Logan!), comedy troupe The Fictionals (Improv Against Humanity!), hometown hero Gareth Gaudin (Legends! Perogi Cat!) and cosplay legends Riddle, Andy Rae, and Star Wars fundraisers the 501st Legion Outer Rim Garrison (the villains who do good!)! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. While Comic Con is family friendly, more adult convention-goers can attend some fun nerd-themed burlesque shows that weekend, like Star Wars themed burlesque “A Nude Hope” (“Are you looking for love in Alderaan places?”) or Full Frontal Nerdity, a no-holds-barred sexy deep dive into nerd culture! Both are presented by the Geekenders and are sure to be a good time.
