If you’ve a craft beer lover, then you’ll find that there’s much for you to enjoy during your trip to Victoria. The city boasts numerous microbreweries, all of which have handcrafted their own delicious beers for you to enjoy. And that’s not all: the breweries are located within walking distance of each other, and also our hotel, too!

We’ve put together a convenient walking tour that begins at the Days Inn Victoria Uptown, and stops by four of Victoria’s best breweries. You can find it by clicking this link. Below, we take a look at the microbreweries you’ll visit on the tour.

Hoyne Brewing

You’ll begin your tour at Hoyne Brewing, which has rightly earned its reputation for producing some of the best craft beers in BC. Big on quality, the brewers honour the spirit of traditional craftsmanship -- oh, and they produce some delicious, full-flavour beers, too.

Driftwood Brewery

Next on the list is Driftwood brewery, which produces a wide range of beers using only the finest ingredients. There’ll be six beers on tap for you to try and enjoy -- which one will you take home in a growler?

Vancouver Island Brewing

Enjoy the beers of Vancouver Island brewing, which are produced using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, in their delightful tasting room. They’ve developed a reputation for not only producing fine craft beers, but doing so with a conscience -- they strive to keep their carbon footprint as small as possible.

Philips

Your last stop will be at Phillips brewery, where you can unwind in their tasting room with one of their sixteen beers they have on tap (with all that walking, you’ve earned it!).

Round off your trip by returning to the best hotel in Victoria. At the Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria Uptown, you’ll find amenities that include a heated indoor pool, fitness centre, and onsite eatery and bar. The perfect way to unwind after your self-guided walking tour!
