You can enjoy all the museums and art galleries that the area provides, or strap on some hiking boots and discover all the natural beauty that surrounds the city. And then there are the events, of which there are many to choose from! If you’re taking a trip to Victoria from mid-March and into April, you’ll have music performances, Lego exhibitions, and dance shows to keep you entertained. Check out the details below!

Tribute to a star

Aretha Franklin may be gone, but her music will live on forever. You can see a selection of her greatest tracks performed live on stage by a talented at the Aretha Franklin Tribute Show, which will take place on March 23 at the McPherson Playhouse. You’ll know all the tracks being performed -- head down, and dance the night away.

Lego exhibition

Who could have predicted that Lego would become such a phenomenon? You have until March 31 to check out the Lego Exhibition at the Sidney Museum. There you’ll find plenty of Star Wars inspired displays, as well as Lego incarnations of many other iconic characters and monuments.

On the stage

If you’re a fan of dance performances, then you won’t want to miss the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago performance, which will be taking place on April 12 and 13 at the Royal Theatre. The shows of resident choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo are always powerful and mesmerising, so check it out if you’re in town and love all things dance!

Round off your stay by staying at the best hotel in Victoria. At the Days Inn Victoria Uptown, you’ll be conveniently located nearby to all the major attractions, and also receive access to amenities that include a heated indoor pool, fitness centre, and dry sauna!
