With Spring on the horizon, we’re going to see more and more events popping up in Victoria. If you’re planning a trip from mid-March onwards, you’ll find plenty of fun and inspiring events taking place, alongside, of course, all the usual activities that Victoria provides. There’s St. Patrick’s Day, world-class dance, and a chance to catch the next big talent on the stage at venues across the city. Check out all the details below, and begin looking forward to your trip.

Irish fun

On St. Patrick’s Day, everyone’s a little bit Irish, right? You can get your fill of Irish fun at the Bard & Baker, which will be hosting a day dedicated to all things Irish. Head down, get a Guinness in your hand, and enjoy the Irish music, dancers, and all-around atmosphere.

Ballet BC

A ballet performance that has a little bit of everything! On March 15 and 16, you’ll be able to catch Ballet BC perform a contemporary ballet piece at the Royal Theatre. After a successful run in the states and Europe, this is one show you won’t want to miss.

Performing arts

Want to catch the next big thing? Or just simple see how talented the kids of today are? Then get down to the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival, which will be taking place at venues across Victoria from April 3 onwards. Whether it’s music, dance, or theatre, you’ll find that these shows showcase the best of the young talent of the area.

Looking to round off your trip in style? Then only the best hotel in Victoria will do. At the Days Inn Victoria Uptown, you’ll be treated to comfortable, spacious accommodations, as well as amenities that include an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and an onsite bar. Everything you need to have a fun and relaxing stay!

There’s plenty of scope to go off and do your own thing when you visit Victoria, but it’s not that you necessarily have to invent your own entertainment, oh no. There are always fun things happening in Victoria, especially up on the stage.
